I am deeply honoured to be the president of the prestigious Breast Imaging Society of India.

I am delighted to announce the publication of the second issue of the Indian Journal of Breast Imaging, the official Journal of BISI. The inaugural edition was made available online on October 27, 2023, with the help of Editor-in-chief Dr. Seema Sud and former president Dr. Bagyam Raghavan.

I want to thank all of the contributors for their hard work and willingness to share their research with us. Our editors and reviewers have done their best to ensure that you have an interesting and relevant collection of articles to read.

Right now, all articles are rigorously peer-reviewed and there is no publication fee. I hope you all will support us by submitting your scientific study and research paper for publication in our newly launched Journal so that we can strive towards getting it PubMed indexed at the earliest.

We are truly appreciative to Dr. Ekta Dhamija, the Journal’s Editor-in-Chief, and the publication team for this issue’s publication.

The IJBI aims to spread knowledge and keep its members up to date on the most recent developments in breast imaging. We would like to invite our young breast radiologists to become involved and share their experiences. We expect to go a long way to establish IJBI as a reputable scientific journal on a global level.

Let us hope for many more issues. More power to the BISI and IJBI.
